For those of you that have been living under a rock for the past couple weeks, Milwaukee is the proud home of a new star. Danny Gokey, one of the newest finalists on American Idol is back in town for a visit. Since he is in town gracing us with his presence along with the American Idol crew, there is a parade going on for him right down here in The Third Ward by the Summerfest grounds. Then he’ll be singing the National Anthem before the Brewers show the Cubs how to play baseball. Naturally, the streets around the shop are packed with traffic.

If you’re trying to get down Milwaukee Street today, I hoped you packed a bag lunch.

The second I walked outside I saw this lady getting into a little bit of a fender bender. Needless to say that put Gokey traffic up to an all time
high for the day.

Buffalo Street was not any better.

This little kid was probably more stoked to see Danny Gokey than anyone that walked these streets today!
