Snow season is approaching quickly. We just got ahold of the schedule for the Burton Midwest Demo Tour so you can check out all of the new tech for 2010 before you pull the trigger and make the purchase. At select tour stops, the Burton crew will be hosting a fun game of JIB (kind of like SKATE or HORSE) with Midwest Represent riders Ryan Paul and Shane Ruprecht. The game is free to all to enter with the chance to come away with some prizes if your skills are up to par.

2009 Burton Midwest Demo Tour
mmmm… Chilly…
Chili is seriously one of the best foods ever; it keeps you warm on a cold day, it can elevate your average hotdog to legendary status and if you make a pot of it you’ll have lunch for two weeks. The good folks at Forum Snowboards have even started working it into their boards with the introduction of ChillyDog technology and for 2011, they’re making it a full meal by adding some pop.

Minnesota’s own favorite son, Joe Sexton throws down a killer part and an even more killer intro (clocking in at 2:30 out of a five minute part). Hopefully this kid will turn pro soon, because he’s better than a lot of dudes that are claiming pro status right now. We just got our shipments of Stepchild boards and 32 boots and outerwear, so you can fulfill all of your Joe Sexton Halloween costume needs. Or JP Walker, for that matter.
In case you missed them, pop the hood to get to the intro and Simon Chamberlain’s part from “This Video Sucks!”
Manny Mania!
Redbull has been throwing their Manny Mania contests all over the country and voting to see who the best of the best really is has started. Show the Midwest some love and click the pic above to vote for Chicago stop winner and homie of the guys at Uprise and Midwest Represent, Timmy Johnson. If he wins, he gets a new HD Digi-Cam, Laptop and copy of Final Cut Pro.
Uhh Son…
neverland
Peep this clip from Absinthe Films upcoming release, Neverland featuring Midwest-bred Dan Brisse. You can officially feel like a pansy now.
Forever
Its about that time of the year, snowboards are arriving and videos will be coming out real soon. I’m pretty stoked to see what the Forum team comes out with this year, as Forum or Against ‘Em was hot fire. Check back as we’ll be posting up more teasers as we get closer to Winter.
Peep the vid above for Kid Millions ‘Victim to the Beat’ track that you’ve been hearing all over 88Nine Radio Milwaukee. The shop even has a little cameo with our homie DJ Madhatter. It looks like Keylo didn’t make the cut, probably because his steelo was a little bit too rough rugged and raw the day they filmed it. Produced by Darren Cole of Alphabang Productions.
Midwest Representin’
Midwest Represent and regional Burton team rider Ryan Paul has been extending his Winter by camping out at Hood all Summer, building on the successes that he’s had over the past year. Build, he has – he got second in the Bonfire Pipe 2 Pipe contest and just landed this feature on High Cascade’s Daily Hammer blog. Stoked to see this young gun from the Midwest makin’ it happen!
