If you’re like me and you are confined to the indoors on this beautiful day, then check out the latest Battle Commander from The Berrics featuring Joey Brezinski. Some quality skating to brighten up your day! If you look closely you will see Joey rocking a Fall 2010 The Hundreds tee. Just a peek at what’s to come from Adam Bomb.
April Nike SB releases just rolled up at the door lookin’ crispier than EVER! Peep the pics.
The amount of good music that’s been rolling through lately has been crazy. All sorts of goodness dropping left and right it seems. Maestro and DJ SOURMILK just released the second mixtape following the completion of the second season of Maestro Knows. The first tape was hot and the 2nd is definitely no disappointment. Download it HERE.

Dom Kennedy, one of our favorites to play in the shop, just dropped his new album. It was supposed to drop around 7 o’clock last night but didn’t end up dropping till 45 minutes later. You can be assured that it was the longest 45 minutes of my life. Just download it HERE and enjoy some quality Los Angeles hip hop. Make sure you download his other albums too.
If you haven’t seen the new Stussy product that hit the floor in the shop today, then scroll down and take a peek. When you’re done drooling over how dope the tees are, then scroll back up, sit back, relax, and indulge in this three part documentary on J Dilla. Stussy put it together to remember the life of one of the greatest hip-hop producers that ever lived. It’s almost a half hour long in total so you might want to grab a snack and a soda before pressing play.
If you aren’t familiar with Maestro Knows, then you have been missing out on one of the best web series to be created. Already on his third season, Levi Maestro is the epitome of what it means to make it in America by doing what you love to do, not what society says you need to do. We can all learn a lesson from his outlook on life. From his skate sessions in his Air Yeezys, to his visits with names like Warren G, Ibn Jasper, Mr. Cartoon, and Geoff Rowley, Maestro continues to push the envelope of creativity. If you haven’t been catching these episodes, then click HERE and you can watch every episode from his past seasons.
As all of you can see, the sun is out, the weather is nice, and there is no more snow on the streets of Milwaukee (for now at least). Rocking a sweatshirt on the walk to class is something that I’ve been waiting for for a long time. Don’t get me wrong, I love snow, but it’s March and some warm weather is feeling real good right about now. Enough with my babbling though, what I’m trying to say is that you no longer have an excuse to not be rocking a fresh pair of kicks. Gravis is looking super clean this spring and there is sure to be something here for everyone.
Lowdown High Cut is always a shop favorite.

I know most of you are probably sitting at home right now, curled up in a ball on your couch, and trying to remember what happened last night. While you think about that, take a look at this video from Upper Playground’s WalrusTV channel. You’ll get a deep insight into Futura (formally known as Futura 2000), and what one of the greatest graffiti artists of all time is all about.
No, it is not December, but it sure does feel like Christmas here in the shop. We’ve had so much new spring gear rolling in that it is truly a task in itself to keep all of you informed on what’s been hitting the floor. But no worries, it’s all so fresh and so clean that it’s well worth the arthritis I’ll probably have in 10 years from typing so much. Here’s a glimpse at the newest Rocksmith to grace the shelves.

There’s also one more tee that was just too hot for the picture session. We like to keep it PG-13 here on The Grind so you’ll have to come check it out for yourself.
