Zachary Scott Kuester
2. Hometown?
Milwaukee, WI
3. Age?
24
4. Nicknames?
Feebs, Feeble, Ethiopian or Zdiz.
5. What is it you do here?
I’m responsible for the receiving, processing, and shipping of all MODA3.com’s orders. If you have bought something online from us I have picked the product from the shelves, processed it through our computers, and taped the box it ships in. It’s pretty much a one man machine unless it is holiday time. Also if you have ever dialed our warehouse line you have most likely had the privilege of speaking with me.
6. How long have you been with MODA3?
Down since day one! From a vision to reality, I have seen it all.
7. What does your typical day look like?
Nothing surrounding MODA3 is typical. I don’t think anyone hear can say they really have a typical day other than smoke breaks and lunch. Sometimes just the smoking.
8. What’s your favorite part of your job?
The fact that i get to surround myself daily with a group of incredibly driven and passionate people.
9. What products that are in the shop or on the horizon are you feeling?
Ummmm…lately I’ve been pretty stoked on all the Gatorade they have been sending to the shop. Also our girl Mel who has us on the Red Bull program. Other than that I’m getting stoked to see all the new 2010 snow product that is just beginning to arrive.
10. Who have you been listening to lately?
In the warehouse you can pretty much always hear 88.9 Radio Milwaukee. From 8 am to 8pm you can bet the warehouse is tuned in. Other than that, I enjoy Phish, Radiohead, and most any hip-hop, reggae, electronic, salsa, afro-beat, bluegrass, jazz, folk, rock music.
11. Favorite Shred spot?
I enjoy skating our new Element flat bar courtesy of Mr. Nick Green and his incredibly thoughtful girl Leah who so graciously donated this for our temporary skating enjoyment. In the winters though I like Tyrol Basin, Chestnut Mountain and my hometown shred spot Alpine Valley.
12. What brands are you backing these days?
Just about anything we sell. Really. How can you put your finger on a few brands when everything you sell is the cats pajamas? However if i must: Burton/Gravis, The Hundreds, Mishka, Elm and Van’s Vault.
12. Parting shots / shouts?
Much love and thanks to the entire MODA3 Famiglia! Immediate and extended…you know who you are. Also boycott La Bodega – I’m looking at an expired box of baseball cakes as we speak! [Editors note: The baseball cakes aren't expired, Zach can't even see them from his desk.]
Zach I didnt know your middle name was Scott…
stoked on the Elm love!!
