crew profiles: #1 Eric Kuester

Ask any wise old timer and they’ll tell you nine times out of ten that the best careers to have are the ones where you get up in the morning and look forward to going to work. A big part of the reason that we all enjoy coming to work every day (and for most of us, its 55+ hours a week) is that we truly are a family here at MODA3. We’ll be running a series of featured profiles of our staff and our extended family over the next couple weeks. To kick things off, here’s some words of wisdom from general manager Eric Kuester:

5. What is it you do here?
As with everyone here at the shop, I do a little of everything or all of it.
6. How long have you been with MODA3?
Down since day one.. Or ever since momma MODA3 got pregnant.
7. What does your typical day look like?
The day typically starts with me filling out some T.P.S reports, then off to lunch, back for a nap, and make sure I work no more than an American 8 hour day. Oh, I forgot about my 3, 15 minute breaks!
8. What’s your favorite part of your job?
Everything and everyone! It really is an amazing opportunity. I love the people that I work with and working with our customers makes the whole thing even better.
9. What products that are in the shop or on the horizon are you feeling?
Well I have been waiting for airblaster to make a neck leash, so hopefully that happens? Really, there’s not much that I am not feeling in the shop or ever not feeling in the shop. We have only cracked the ice on whats to come…
10. Who have you been listening to lately?
We have a pretty rad indie radio station here in the city that keeps me going.. Old, new, local, just a solid mix of goodies. If you’re local you best know, for the rest its streaming at Radiomilwaukee.org. Otherwise its been my favorite local cats the Rusty P’s.
11. Favorite Shred spot?
Wherever the shred is rad.
12. What brands are you backing these days?
We have such a solid lineup of brands and such a good mix that I dont think there is anything specific I could call out. With the winter season upon us I have been rocking the burglar steez pretty hard of late (crisp denim, solid color hoodie, dark sneakers, and of course runnin the solid color reservoir tip beanie).
