I’ve been a fan of anything Larry David puts his hands on including Curb Your Enthusiasm and Seinfield. So automatically I’m a fan of any product of those shows. Tonight, Jerry Seinfeld will be performing solo at The Riverside Theatre. Should be pretty G-rated compared to when I saw Dane Cook and his crew last month.

The place to find a sweaty dance party tonight is at The Miramar Theater for Glitch Mob! They are the crunkest bunch of music masters this side of the Mississippi. No really, this is going to be fun, you should go!

We got some Nike delivered to our door step this morning, and this month surely does not disappoint. First off, we received the new Air Royal Mid QS which has been the talk of the shop for probably the past two weeks. The premium materials and clean silhouette are the reasons I renamed this shoe the Gentlemen’s Nike. Don’t sleep.

If you are the type that likes to celebrate Halloween all year long, these are definitely the jams for you. A Dunk Hi Premium and an Air Max 90 premium with too many details to even talk about. You’ll just have to come see for yourself. By the way, if you’re not the type to celebrate Halloween all year long, there is nothing wrong with keeping these guys on ice till next October.

We also received this Air Pegasus ‘89 that is strictly business. Black and white means these shoes are all day.

And of course we can’t forget about you ladies. This Blazer is one of the best colorways to come in yet. A basic black with pops of color in all the right places. To me the stitching around the swoosh is what makes this shoe.

2009 Burton Midwest Demo Tour

Snow season is approaching quickly. We just got ahold of the schedule for the Burton Midwest Demo Tour so you can check out all of the new tech for 2010 before you pull the trigger and make the purchase. At select tour stops, the Burton crew will be hosting a fun game of JIB (kind of like SKATE or HORSE) with Midwest Represent riders Ryan Paul and Shane Ruprecht. The game is free to all to enter with the chance to come away with some prizes if your skills are up to par.

if you’re coming downtown to shop, don’t be alarmed when you get here. The Historic Third Ward association just dropped some fly new parking meters around town and they are creating a buzz! Forget about trying to find nickels and dimes underneath your seat, you just roll up, get out, punch some numbers, insert card and/or coins, stroll the Ward. If that’s not ballin’, I’m not sure what is.

Last year Nike made a huge splash in the boot game with the Zoom Force 1. Welcome the Zoom Kaiju to the family. Every great thing you’ve come to know and love from Nike shoes translated into a snowboard boot. Free sole, Flywire, and Zoom Air. These boots turn tweaks to twaks, 3s to 5s, and jibs to jabs. I’m just kidding, what I’m saying is that these are the business!

Coming off a hot month of October with Dancing With The Stars, Louie Vito’s boot does not disappoint. Red tiger stripes, a gold swoosh, and a gum sole! Man, I might just keep these on ice for the dance floor.

Two other colorways are also offered in the Zoom Force 1 for October. The tie dye is bananas, and if you think it looks good in that picture, you should see them in person. Last year I was sad to see the white on white ZF1s were only offered to the ladies, this year, it’s the fella’s turn.

Just because it says Nike Snowboarding doesn’t mean you have to snowboard to rock these jackets. These four pieces are amazing. From the hill, to the bus stop, to the clubs, this is as official as it gets.

jeff anderson i am snowboarding tribute.

February 23, 2003 the snowboard world lost one of its greats. In fact, if he was still around today its pretty safe to say he would be the biggest name in snowboarding. Unfortunately for us Jeff Anderson died before that could happen. He did however influence thousands of riders and pushed the progression of snowboarding to help shape what it has become today.

Today would be Jeff’s 30th birthday and to commemorate him over 30 of the industry’s biggest artists and photographers have come together to create one of a kind pieces that will be sold November 12th, 13th, and 14th. These three days will be filled with events celebrating the life and times of Jeff Anderson. All proceeds from the events will go towards the JLA Memorial Fund. Thirtytwo boots and Stepchild snowboards presents a super mega limited editon collaboration. And it sucks. Just kidding, it’s actually really awesome. Stepchild designed the boots and 32 did the board. No not really. The board is modeled after Stepchild’s “Everything Sucks” and the boots take after the best selling boot in the world, the 32 “Lashed.” The only thing that sucks about this is that we only have a limited quantity.
